Debt Negotiation Qualification

One of the options for debt relief is called "Debt Negotiation." For this program, you need to qualify by having a verifiable "hardship" in your life that has caused you to be unable to pay your debts. Below are some of the criteria that the attorney will look at when looking at your unique case. The attorney consultation will be provided free with no up front charges. The decision is ultimately yours which program you choose to pursue:

1. Client must have a minimum of $10,000 of unsecured debt such as credit card debt, medical debts, or judgments.

2. Client must be having difficulty paying their current monthly minimum debt payments and be seeking debt relief. If approved by the underwriting department, client will make their new affordable monthly payment into an account they control for purposes of saving money to be used to negotiate these debts.

3. Client must have a qualifying hardship story (loss of job by either spouse, loss of job (or hours) by either spouse, a mortgage that is adjusting, medical bills, deficiency balances, judgments, death, divorce, loss of business income, excessively high interest rates on credit cards, etc.).

4. Client must be committed to completion of the program, which is tailored specifically according to the needs of each client (usually 12-50 months).
